The new Smart Pricing system goes far beyond simple base prices and percentage multipliers. It now supports compound conditions, time-based surcharges, distance fees, and loyalty discounts — all configurable from your dashboard without writing a single line of code.
Here is what Smart Pricing can do. You can now set rules like "If the vehicle is XL and in poor condition, add a 20% surcharge" — stacking multiple dimensions in a single rule. You can add weekend surcharges that automatically apply for Saturday and Sunday bookings, or after-hours fees for appointments scheduled after 6 PM. If you serve a wide area, you can set distance-based travel fees: "If the customer is more than 20 miles away, add a flat $50 travel fee." And for your best customers, you can create loyalty discounts that kick in automatically after a certain number of bookings — "If a customer has booked 10 or more times, apply a 5% discount."
All of these rules are configured through a visual builder in your dashboard. You do not need to understand formulas or spreadsheets. Just pick the condition, set the amount, and preview what a customer would see. The pricing engine evaluates all active rules in order — base price first, then multipliers, then surcharges and discounts — and shows a transparent line-item breakdown to the customer. They see exactly why the price is what it is: "Full Detail: $200. SUV size: +$60. Weekend surcharge: +$25. Loyal customer discount: -$14.25. Total: $270.75."
